Technicians

Melodie Moon

Melodie was born and raised in Baton Rouge, La, making her a devoted LSU Tiger fan. She has worked in metro Atlanta animal hospitals since 2000 which have included daytime practices and 24 hour emergency facilities. Melodie enjoys attending seminars to continue building her knowledge of veterinary medical care and takes a special interest in dental care and nutrition.

Melodie is the proud mother of two kitties: Toad, an all white handsome cat man, and Twister, a grey and white tuxedo (who is always dressed for the occasion). When not at work, Melodie enjoys attending football and baseball games, reading, traveling, and spending time with her close friends.

Reception

Heather Cook

Heather has been a part of the Cumming community for most of her life. She is a graduate of the Business Management Certificate Program at Lanier Technical College and studied at Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia.

Heather has worked as a veterinary receptionist since 2004 and enjoys working with people and their beloved pets. She and her husband are the proud parents of a precious baby boy and two canine children. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, spending time with her family, and entertaining friends.

Lara Feltracco

Lara moved to Forsyth County in 2000 after living several years overseas with her family. She has spent the past 4+ years working in the accounting/tax field yet has had a passion and desire to work with animals. Lara brings administrative assistant experience combined with a love for animals to Vickery Animal Hospital. Lara currently resides in Cumming with her husband, two children, and her special furry friend, Biscuit.
